The Great Conjunction of 2020

Jupiter Saturn Conjunction.png

The Great Conjunction is coming! This month is VERY exciting - not only is it my birthday month, we also have the "Great Conjunction" as astrologists and astronomers call it, when Jupiter and Saturn will line up extremely close together on December 21st -- the Winter Solstice!

These two large planets align closely every 20 years, but they have not been THIS close since 1623! How close is close? There will only be 0.1 degree of space between them. Not only are they lining up, they are also moving out of the sign of Capricorn and into Aquarius. All of this is extremely significant.

Jupiter is the planet of luck and expansion, while Saturn in the planet of structure and discipline, so when these planets come together it can feel a bit restrictive - but when they start to pull away after the 21st, the release of tension will come! Also, the winter solstice, also known as the shortest day of the year, is a celebration of the light of Spring to come. After the 21st, the days will start to have more light - just as we are seeing the light to come with the release of the COVID vaccine later this month.

With these planets moving into Aquarius (an air sign), more good news! Aquarian energy is about freedom, innovation, technology and humanitarian values. So we can expect to see some exciting developments in 2021, some might be unexpected.

When you look to the sky on the 21st you will see Jupiter and Saturn shining brightly, almost like a super star as their light merges. A special sight and a true gift this holiday season!
