Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio - Prepare to Release!
May 15th/16th Total Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio ♏️ (Square Saturn in Aquarius, Trine Neptune and Mars in Pisces)
*This will be a total eclipse for those on the East Coast, and a partial eclipse for us on the West Coast.
While all eclipses hold a heavier cosmic weight than your average moon - this one in Scorpio is especially intense as Scorpio rules passion, death, rebirth, elimination and intimacy on all levels. Layering in the additional complex energies of Saturn making hard aspects, this moon is going to leave an impact on us all, but will most strongly effect fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. If you have any of your big three (rising, sun, moon) in one of these signs, prepare for big feelings and big releases! Lunar eclipses are grand endings, the cycle is complete and must be laid to rest.
A powerful conclusion is imminent, if it hasn’t happened already. Now is the time to realize that the situation is out of your control. Allow the events and your feelings to unfold naturally, do not resist and do not force - unless you want to make things harder on yourself.
This moon, also known as a blood moon, will turn a rusty red color - which allows us to see all matters in a different light — if we allow ourselves to. Pay attention to any new perspectives you discover at this time.
Saturn’s energy is causing some resistance and feelings of loneliness. Many of us will feel like we are completely alone during this time, we aren’t! Asking for help is ok! There is a tight grip on whatever is wanting to be let go of - this could cause a delayed or drawn out release process. Know that the conclusion must happen at its own pace, do not try to stop it or rush it.
Positively, there is also the influence of Neptune and Mars - which can make spiritual insight especially vivid - however I don’t recommend forcing any visions and would advise against any meditation practices today as the energy is so intense, but if images effortlessly come to you throughout the day or night, make note of them.
